First time posting in this epic thread. (Long time lurker)

Just got a Jap/US RGB N64 with Jap Pilotwings and US Ocarina of Time.



Ploughed an hour into Pilotwings and loved every minute. Looked much better than expected on my 42" plasma. Never played more than an hour of Ocarina, but have promised myself to give this another shot.

Looking to build up a small collection of my fave N64 titles over the coming months whilst doing my best to play them all!

I don't, sorry. I think it may be from consolepassion but I'm not sure. May crack it open to have a look at some point, just to see what's been done.

Fallen off the videogame wagon and bought a modded slim PS2. I think Slim PS2's are cheap ****e, but wanted one quick and was reasonably priced.

On the lookout for a Trinitron now, I feel like pouring boiling water on my hands for what I have done.

There are still retail PS2 games being released so surely its still a modern console? Or is it just over here in Japan?

Not really over here. To be fair you do get the odd retail titles but never seen a new game in the proper game shops. Most of the new games are westling or football.

Certainly not current gen but certainly not retro either.

PS2 games are basically just PS3 games with worse graphics. Therefore, not retro.

I don’t think there’s a need for pigeon holing (Poor Pigeon) but if the console is no longer officially made or out to buy new in shops, then I would class that as Retro.
