Burning Rangers was greatly underrated, as it's a game that really does fit under the 'ahead if it's time' banner.
Sonic Team were pushing the Saturn to it's limits trying all sorts of fancy **** all over the place... transparent fires, lighting etc etc, they used every little trick and exploit in the book to pull it off.
As a result of the limited hardware though, and just plain asking too much of it, the game suffers from a very jumpy framerate, some low resolution textures and glitching that are really down to asking too much of the hardware, as opposed to programming incompetence or anything.
It was great IMO, but when you played it, you knew they wanted it to be more.
A game that truely would benefit from a next-gen remake.

A few from my hauls over the past couple of weeks:
^ Retro Core made me buy this, but I am a huge UY fan.
Got Sabre Wulf and Underwurlde off Michael here, and that completes my uber nostalgia trilogy (Sabre Wulf was the first Speccy game I bought).
Soooo much better than the depressingly bad Saturn version. My faith in the series was restored.
Lovely.

Nice stuff
Also, as per usual Working Designs did a smashing job on the presentation. All glossy paper and metallic lettering
