How have you been enjoying your Saturn so far Geoff D? I gather this is a new venture for you?

Is he playing the games he gets or is he just collecting for showing off rights?

It's time for geoff to give us a "Show Off" collection picture. (Unless it's already posted!)

Then we can all point at the various games he's bought from us!8)

Good taste you have sir. Good taste indeed.

Easiest single player beat-em up I've ever played. Even with the difficulty on max it's almost a waste of time. So if no one likes fighting games, only sports and racing then it's not a great buy

I'm loving it - I've owned one before, but never gave it enough time to become part of the family; I then saw a mint white Jpn Sat going for ?50 on Ebay & couldn't resist. I've been putting some time into RSG of late & nowt else is getting much of a look in (on any platform). I'm waiting until I have a few days off until I get stuck into Saga though - I'm expecting big things from that baby...

It'd be quite paltry, particularly compared to some of the chaps on this here forum - the majority of my games are for the SFC & that's only 30 odd; prolly got about 30-40 titles across the other platforms & that's it - I've sold down a fair few over the past year or 2, just to trim the fat

It is also one of the most impressive arcade conversions, like, EVAR!

I got a few bits yesterday - MVS carts for my cab - Metal Slug X and King Of Fighters 98. On their way to me soon: Real Bout 2, Shock Troopers 2nd Squad, and Rage of The Dragons. That should do me I reckon.

Jealous. I've always wanted this. Alas, I am stuck with NGCD titles.

I'd never heard of it, dude. The ever brilliant eastyy sent me a PM saying someone was selling it, and that it was meant to be good. I checked it out on Neo Geo website, PM'd the guy on here, and looks like a done deal! I gather it is a sequel of sorts to the Double Dragon Neo fighter, but has name changes for copyright reasons.

I will put a quid into the cab and have six credits in your honour, biyatch.

                          Billlayyy... versus... Jimmaaayyyyyy!

I've never played RotD, but it looks lush, and I'm a sucker for any lush 2D fighter, even if they suxxor.

Rage of the dragons was a great game (along with matrimelee) Fighting games that felt like a breathe of fresh air in the neo geo market.

Used to love this in the arcade, epically the akuma arcade machine crashing move, we had it at leeds met uni for quite a while and i used to quite litreley kick ass on it every lunch time for a good few months

The Saturn version is fantastic, im sorry but who plays single player fighting games for anything but practise, vs is where this game comes alive. over the top intense and a great laugh with a few mates.

Just won Gradius Deluxe Pack (Saturn) on ebay. Final cost just under ?15 all-in (the bastard has ?2.99 compulsory insurance). Still, a good price, no?
