    I can't say i've noticed this.

The only really, really big slowdown for me, has been the blue mech on the Ruin stage, firing those patterns of 5-way blue shots over and over - THEN it crawls.

But assuming you mean the ship coming out of the water on the Sprite stage, or whatever the first stage it, no slowdown here on my MD.

SS..looks great, sounds great, seems to play a little slow but I'm still figuring out fm2 a little and don;t think I've got it pumped to the max yet. I'll dig it out on ngh, ngcd and do a comparison for you. (I might soon have a marty capable of running it too....)
Nice one, palying it on Marty possibly eh....pcmia card?? I can forgive Crypt Killer, i have played it on Saturn probably at least 20 times hehe.

Ah, right that's how I remember it. The Gold Pack 2 version is based on the Japanese release which does slow down in many places. The 99 life cheat doesn't work on the Gold Pack II or Japanese MD version either.

Having just play Thunder Force IV on the MD I would totally agree, the blue mech 5-way shot reduces the game to a crawl.

Can't say I seem that much slowdown in the second gold pack however. The fact you can play as the ship in Thunder Force III was a nice touch.

I hope your collection is well insured against earthquakes Yakumo san. You must have some mighty fine titles....
We added Taromaru and Crows for the Saturn to the site recently.

They will of course require extensive playtesting even at the weekend. It's a hard job, but someone's got to do it!
                      Peter,

I wondered if that line was a little confusing so to clear it up.

In the Thunder Force Gold Pack 2, edition of Thunder Force IV you can play as the Thunder Force III ship instead of the normal ship via a code for finishing the game. Don't know if it was in the MD release or not.
