Yes. I'm R-Type from your own site. I figure now that you are Ken, also from there, d'oh! Anyway, some nice purchases you've made :P

Champloo: About 60 Euro's (thats 40 or so pounds?).. its complete with spine. To my knowlegde, thats a fair price for a PC regular edition (non-satkore). Can't wait until it arrives, and then print out a FAQ and let rip with da ****! Pld it before, it rocks.

Its been a quite a long time since I collected retro stuff.. but Princess was one I still wanted to get anyhow. I think only Dungeons and dragons, US Guardian heroes (cuz of the language) and Astra Superstars are left and then I don't know of any other saturn game I truly want (I shrank my saturn collection to about 50 games recently... solely to the games I really like).

?40 seems about right, all the copies i've seen on ebay have been ?30 - 50 depending on condition. I bet you'll probably get it for about 5,000 yen in Japan though.

Akihabara - idd, 't is redelijk rustig. Maar dat is beter dan alleen maar bull**** threads over ehh GTA (zoals veel IGF topics).

In alot of occasions, Japan isn't really cheaper than the rest. Because they probably know the values.. I believe RSG is priced around the 15000 yen? But 5000 yen for Princess Crown could be appropiate.. thats still around 25 quid.

I checked some vids on youtube and man those graphics of PC are still a sight to behold.. those fights against the Dragon and Giant Enemy Crab(!). If there is one game that shows the saturns 2d graphical prowess its this one... w/o any added RAM.

In a lot of occasions, Japan is much cheaper, you just have to know where to look and not go to Akihabara too much for rare Saturn stuff etc. Akihabara is only good now if you need real rare stuff or arcade games. Normal games can be found for half the price in a lot of cases in gameshops in normal areas tourists never come.

One place where I bought all the shooters above from today has RSG for 25'000 yen ! Princess Crown is normally about 8000 yen.

Yum Mate got back from Japan last week, and brought over these amongst some other goodies on Friday. Zero 2 was the last SF for the SFC I needed, and the mook he grabbed was different to the other one I had. Annoyingly SF2' is the only Hucard that doesn't work with my adaptor, but he's also bringing round Space Harrier and Salamander so the PCE will get some love.

The bit at the top is the turntable from the Wonderswan version of Beatmania, one of the few bits I'm missing from my BM collection

I think everybody who's well into MegaDrive will know the game. I don't, for some unknown reason, have it in my collection yet. It's not rare or anything, just haven't found it in the right condition.

And as I said, I'll be happy to take it of your hands
