This was an absolute steal, for those who've never seen one it's HUGE and there's blue neon lights above and below the console so when you plug it in the console compartment has a cool glow to it. The 'Dreamcast' sign at the top lights up too.

I also bought a Japanese Dreamcast to replace the p*ss stained PAL one I got with the kiosk so the last few weeks have been spent replacing my PAL collection with their Jap counterparts. So far there's nothing special just the essentials... ALL are mint and complete with spines though (of course) and only 3 (Garou: Mark of Wolves, Confidential Mission and Dead or Alive 2) cost me more than £5.

I'm not really a fishing fan but Sega Marine Fishing is fantastic so I've just picked up a Rod in anticipation of finding a copy of that.

Oh and finally... I recently picked up a chipped PSone very cheaply from eBay (£9 Inc. P&P, it's even the round slim-line one ) so my entire PSone collection arrived yesterday, gutted I missed out on Kaze no Klonoa: Door to Phantomile though ...

£90, he originally sold it for £160 to replace it with a Tekken 3 arcade cabinet he'd bought from eBay, but since it's about 7ft tall and made of metal the buyer couldn't get it in his car. Anyway I was hmmming and ahhing so the guy selling just said I could have it for £90 if I paid cash and picked it up that weekend.

EDIT: It came with the original instruction manual too, apparently these were part of some youth club scheme.

This hasn't arrived yet but I couldn't wait to show it, if only to reassure everyone that reports of my Contra obsession dying are greatly exaggerated!

Awesome kiosk 12-51-00. Remember playing Soul Calibur in '99 on one of those and picking my jaw off the floor.

I'm in the process of doing the same thing: NTSC > PAL. But would you mind telling me where you found the gems for those prices?

Wow MattyD that is really nice.

Can I ask where you got it, as I'm on the look out for boxed Japanese Gameboy games, but I'm finding it really hard to locate any that aren't either in dire condition, or pirate cartridges.

I've managed to pick up a few things recently like, Tetris, Super Mario Land, R-Type, and Rockman, for reasonable prices.

I bought Rockman 3 & 5 from a seller on Ebay but they turned out to be fakes. Not bad quality fakes, but the fact they both had the US Megaman releases on the cartridges gave it away!!

I bought it from this seller on eBay but it doesn't look like he has any more Jap Game Boy ATM. It was just sheer luck that I found it as I wasn't even intending to buy anything!

Some real nice games in there, particularly Magical Hat, Tatsujin, Hellfire and Kyukyoku Tiger. Only one on that list i don't remember being up to much is Arrow Flash.
