Why thank you! It was going for a decent price and I was looking for an excuse to offload my unboxed scruffy grey N64 console, and this provided said excuse!

To Pineapple chunk; Mine wasn't sealed (but even if it was I would have probably opened it anyway, I buy stuff to use not to stare at) and I paid £40, Mint Perfect Dark cost £4.50 and the Expansion pak was a bit pricey at £12 mint.

Nice, I'm not a N64 fan myself but I'm surprised you found so much in such good condition.

A mate of mine in Seattle just picked up a mint and unfaded Famicom/Famicom Disc System for me. Only $25 and he can post it to me free through work... I just bought a load of Famicom stuff on the VC though so I'll probably stick this on eBay when it comes, what should I be asking?

Edit: And isn't there a problem with these and modern TVs anyway?

Regular Famicoms won't fetch much in the UK because their RF output doesn't work on most UK televisions, even HD sets, because their RF receivers don't support the correct frequency. The one I have I got for £25 with a bunch of games and was only the second bidder. AV modded machines will fetch a much better price as will AV Famicoms, which are worth £40+ unboxed.

With the disc system you'll need to rest it when it arrives as the drive belts are almost always broken, unless the previous owner replaced it with a new one. Working ones go for about the same price as the base machine.

Oh well, Plan B, rip off the controllers, bin the consoles and make some Famicom Classic Controllers
