    Few odds and sods.

Fully switched Neo Geo CD console, unboxed with 1 controller and scart lead, N64 Zelda Ocinaria of time loose cart, 32x Star Wars arcade with instructions loose cart, 32x Metalhead with instructions loose cart.

I know the purists go for the cartridge Neo Geo but it's the first Neo I've ever had and I'm very happy with it! Also having cheaper games helps me as I can't really afford ?50 a pop especially with moving house at the moment (hence horrendous floorboards in pic lol!).

All courtesy of Nintastic from these very forums,

    Thanks again Marcus!

When you decide to upgrade, get yourself a consolised MVS with unibios (I think a few people build them here?).
Cheaper carts and no load time.

I think this game was originally titled 'Dong' but they changed the name because, well, you know.

I seem to recall reading in Amiga magazines that WH Smiths refused to stock it for one thing.

In my eyes you did the right move
The price of AES games is just jaw dropping... Neo Geo CD games however are more reasonably priced...
?1000 for AES Metal Slug, ?50 odd for CD Metal Slug!

And on the plus side, there are about 100 games avaliable.
There is no copy protection on the system either, all the games are easily avaliable off the net. Depends if you wanna play or collect!

Also Last Hope (a new game for Neo Geo and DC) was released on the NGCD by NGDevTeam. Havent got round to checking it out, but looks rather impressive!

Are you enjoying it? To me it feels like quite a low budget RPG (which i guess the original is...) that can be very very frustrating at times. I found there arent many hints on what to do next, youre jsut expected to know where to go and what items to use...

I found a walkthrough lying around on the net Ive saved to my computer, if you find yourself banging your head against the wall i can send it over to you Didnt seem to be on GameFAQs or any of the usual sites...

Fairly rare, yeah... Only see a copy on eBay about once a year id say.
Its no Smurfs 2, but one of the last 10 or so SMS games I need

ASH! Youre meant to be an Amiga fan!!! tut tut!
Its one i fondly remember from my childhood A600 days. Why I fondly remember it, I dont know. Its incredibly hard and the controls arent the best... Probably why it didnt sell too well and there isnt much mention of it.
Now I want to track down the CD32 versions of 'Base Jumpers' and (the supposedly existing) 'Traps n Treasures'

*Still awaiting for my PowerPak to arrive*

Picked up Killer 7 on the GC today from Gamestation for a crisp £10. It's in immaculate condition. Gonna have a go tonight.

Got myself a 50/60hz Supah Famicom today, ooh the nostalgia is pouring in The games were bought on eBay sometime ago, Yossy Island is near mint, while Starfox is in good condition. Not pictured is the universal adaptor I bought alongside the console, for use with my US Star Wars trilogy-games.

It's something else to play the "original" Yoshi Island instead of the GBA-version

And how much for? 5 EUR

Id been keeping quiet about that until it arrived. Im sure the SMS Elite will see why
Not that rare I didn't think? I always seem to remember it being available on the Euro eBay sites quite often..

Now if it was Smurfs 2 I would have been impressed

Bought about 80 SFC carts off my friend yesterday, unbelievable how many crap games are on the SFC.

He threw in some FC carts as well

This cart in particular made me laugh

(I can't read all of it, but on one side it says s**t game and on the top it says boring~)

ahhhh base jumpers that was a quality wee demo, never did get the game. Remember playing that demo on CD32 Gamer and was addicted to it for ages.
I need to bring my CD32 back from home, I miss it.

Kusogaki, i notice you have The Rocketeer sitting there. I bought that when it originally came out, a load of old ****e. Just like the forgotten movie.

This is the best game of it's type on the Mega Drive and it's not even official! Voice and most sound effect samples are ripped from Golden Axe but everything else is original. Sadly only one of the two copies is working. This game was produced in 1999 by Never Ending Soft.
Shui Hu Feng Yun Zhuan is the name and it is indeed an awesome game. Been playing it on my PSP quite a bit. Some decent magic attacks too. Possible the best console scrolling fighter I've played.

He has Golden Fighter in there. All the other games are worthless in comparison.

LOL i think that was the first one i tested, i think someone was talking about it earlier in this thread or another thread.

Does the game just make you fly around in circles in every stage? I gave up when stage 2 was the same thing again...

Hyper Version is better in ever respect. More modes ans smother animation if you can believe that.
