The last saturn I owned was a switched PAL unit. The only PAL game I played was Shinobi X. Figured it made sense just to buy a Japanese console this time.

I bought an original Saturn at launch..it was the first time in my life I had to take out a loan to buy it. Boy was it worth it.

Thats lovely. TBH, you are better off just having a JPN Saturn altogether, all the best games and the library is much bigger.
I had nothing but problems trying JPN games on my switch pal system. Soukyugurentai being one.

I fancy some Batsugun. Just clearing out stuff before buying any new in. I'm treating games with far more respect these days. Doesn't matter if they cost 99p or £99. I will play them and enjoy them until the end. (especially old 8 and 16bit platformers)

If its a shmup, I'll either aim for 1CC or if I realise that that isn't within my skill capability, I'll aim for as least continues as possible.

Just giving games respect they deserve. I'm trying not to buy more than 3-4 games in a row so I don't pressure myself or have too much of a backlog.

$90 or so for all those, all complete and in excellent condition.
              Most where from EB.

Core Grafx Came this morning. It has a RGB Colour Booster Mod. (I'm with the understanding its in the RGB, not an internal mod (Like my last one) Great picture regardless. Stunning infact.

This just arrived today from Genki Games in mint condition, still sealed.

It's called Savaki and it's a MMA beat 'em-up for the Saturn. I stumbled across it the other day when replying to an obscure games for the Saturn thread.

Graphics are OK but not great. It's 60fps bit the textures are poor and the resolution is quite low. Sound effects and music are pretty average.
It plays quite slowly so I suppose it's either quite technical or just a bit poo. The only major dissapopintment is that despite being mixed martial arts there are no grapplers at all

Still there's somethingstrangely appealing about it so I'll persevere.

A few buys this month for me. 3 Wii games although not retro are on the same picture, so..... Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones and The Conduit. For Mega CD there's Popful Mail and a factory sealed Laughing Salesman. Dreamcast discs include the rare Cawaii disc that was given away on the cover of some Japanese girly fashion mag and DUX.

These haven't just arrived but I've been out of the country for over a month and some arrived just before I went and one while I was away, so I've only just photographed them.

The MCD game to the left is Fhey Area, btw.

Unfortunately VR is way too fat to fit in my Multimega. Anyone know if the PAL version runs okay in 60hz or am I going to have to get a US copy?
