Got a few things myself the last few weeks.



Retro Stuff includes Street Fighter Zero 2 Dash with spine to replace my old one without a spine, cool Shadow Run for Mega CD anda few other Saturn games including Choro Q.

quality haul there ikobo!!... Rainbow Islands has to be the highlight of the games though, that game is on my hit list for sure!!

I've seen those guitars in Shanghai and Doha but never picked one up. Any good Yakumo?

Surprisingly very good! I wasn't expecting much but I'm very happy with it. Build quality is solid, comes with changeable face plates as well plus tool to change them. The Wii remote fits nice a snug too. Best of all the buttons aren't really noisy like the official Guitar Hero guitars. I even got a new NYKO wide guitar strap as a free bonus from the seller in Tokyo. I'm not going to use it though because I prefer the black one that came with the guitar.

Anyway, yes, the Nyko guitar is surprisingly good. Well worth picking up.

Just for that remark, here's some of the other NEC stuff i've unboxed this morning...................

Bargaintastic HuCards, highlights are a mint super long nose goblin for under ?6 and mint moto roader II for ?11.



Little bit of PCE hardware as it was cheap! Fully working sound, nice and loud, one dead pixel. It's had some sort of mod done where it's had a switch added on the side that disables the speaker???? I'm assuming it's had the sound fault at some point and had parts replaced, going to contact the seller about it today to try and get more info.




More additions to the PC-FX collection. All cheap and cheerful except cutey honey FX, which is a bit of a rarer one.

Be interesting to hear what you find out about that switch. I've only ever seen ones that are advertised as region switched. Just a thought have you seen what happens if you plug in headphones, perhaps it no longer cuts the sound output of the speaker so you'd have to use that switch?

I remember seeing Choro Q Park in Sega Saturn magazine years ago, any good? Was it a Saturn exclusive? (not seen a PSX version personally, which is odd considering that a large chunk of the series appeared on that format).

Yes, It's a Saturn exclusive and actually not that bad. At first the game play is really slow but once you get a bit of cash and buy stuff for your car things soon pick up. Looks quite nice as well.

It's a fiver for two, but he'll do them in any colour you ask for. I had gold for the hori sticks i have, and red for my white custom job.

ok, here's a break from the norm for me! I've always thought the sharp famicom twin was an amazing looking bit of kit, second only to the PCE briefcase setup. Swore i wouldn't get one unless a belter turned up, well, it did......................

Ignore the PC-Engine sticker thats lay on the bed, i don't have PCE bedsheets! (i'll show you what that was for in a bit!)



I need to take another pic of the system, it looks much better than this in the flesh. I think it's due to the flash.



All these disk games are brand new, sealed. (bought the zelda and castlevania a few weeks back)



This little belter took many a 10p from me in the arcades back in the day, LOVE the packaging of the game!

I've been trying to talk myself out of buying a famicom twin, there's no way back for me now though after seeing this!
