Nintastic, how many super famicom/SNES titles do you actually have??? Always great to see the excellent condition your stuff's in.
Finding the condition of games I collect due to the packaging being made of cardboard is getting more and more harder, time consuming and expensive to find hence I've been selling my non nintendo collections to fund my obsession with mint as new games. I guess I'm rather like you in your obcession with mint as new pc engine games (least there not made of cardboard lol).

Yeah, it's one of the benefits of the jewel case games mate! I still have a lot of difficulty finding good enough stuff for my collection, i've resorted to mainly buying sealed stuff so that i know when i open them the contents are pristine. Still unbelievable the amount of sellers who fail to mention sun faded spines etc.
Those games might be giving you a nightmare to find, and it may be costing extra, but people will always pay a premium for mint stuff should you ever sell. Nice work!

I came to the conclusion that I had wayyyy to many systems to collect for so slowly I'm trimming it all down to just the systems I love and grew up with and using the funds raised to put into my passion.
Heck, I'm just about to list a sealed Panzer Dragoon Saga to raise funds for my ninty obcession........ i do have a problem lol ( least it aint drugs or booze I suppose !).

Haha! I know what you mean! I've decided to sell off everything apart from my personal PC-Engine games and ONE mint system, and my NEO GEO games and system. And the room up in Scotland i keep all my retro kit in is currently being gutted out and redecorated, and one wall is having a load of custom shelving installed to hold all my stuff. This pics fairly old, but it has pretty much all my mint PCE games on one shelf, i was getting a bit worried about it being too heavy, falling down and smashing all my precious games!

As it was my birthday yesterday I finally got my grubby mitts on the Wiz my missus had bought me.
Wow, wow and f*cking wow is all I can say. I ummed and arred over whether to get this or the Dingoo A320 and I'm so glad I chose the Wiz. Its screen is inf*ckingcredible. Honestly, it really looks like a mini-CRT in your pocket... MAME games like Galaga really benefit from real blacks, and as for vector games, they look astounding. Colours are really rich and bright too - my missus even commented on how good Knuckles & Sonic 3 looked even though she usually rolls her eyes when I show her my latest geeky game.
Oh yeah, really loving the touch-screen too. A new version of ScummVM has just been released for the machine and it looks like it has been polished more times than Gillian Taylforth's husband's knob. Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle play great and look great, unlike on the DS version of ScummVM where everything is squished.
What else? As a Mega CD fanboy I'm loving Picodrive. Runs like a charm. Ikobo will be pleased to hear that PCE/CD emulation is spot on. In fact it's better than the Xbox in this regard, with CD tracks no longer being played at the same time as chip tunes in Ys (what an annoying bug that was). DoDonpachi plays f*cking great in vertical mode via FBA2X.
SNES emulation... oh yeah... I'd heard mixed opinions about SNES emulation on the Wiz but personally I think it's pretty f*cking good. Not quite ZSnexbox standard but much better than I was expecting. True, if you want transparencies, mode 7 and all you'll have to overclock but each game can be overclocked individually from the in-game menu so once you've figured out which games require the extra oomph you need never worry about it again. With the correct settings most games I played were a solid 60fps including the likes of SMK and F-Zero. Dragonball Z: Hyper Dimension was unplayably slow for some reason.
With regards to overclocking I haven't used the machine enough to say how much it affects battery life but what I do know is that a few machines (PCE, MD, CPS) can be underclocked so the battery life you save whilst emulating these machines should compensate for the SNES, unless you're yesteryear and only ever play SNES games
Yeah, anyway, so happy as Larry with my new toy!!!
