Did you ever play the original big, physical amusement machine? Little plastic 'gang' members would advance towards you shouting 'we want energy' while you fended them off with a light gun (a hit would make them back up the track a little). Made quite a racket.

Loads of Saturn Retro goodness the last two weeks including some rare, expensive and some pure cheap crap. Titles that stand out are Layer section II Sample, NiGHTS Special Sample disc, Water Kids and Guyfaut.

The NiGHTS one has a slightly different intro and different sound on the Sonic logo. Also some of the music in the game is in the wrong place. The level select screen and title screen look different too. The Layer Section II sample is just the same as the final game apart from that you can only play the 1st two levels.

There are two games with ladies on the front. Both are ****e but which one did you mean?

Nah, I'm not a pure must be perfect type of collector. Of course I'd prefer the spines but as long as everything is in good shape I'm happy.

Also does anyone know if duke nukem 3d came out in japan for the saturn? I have the PAL version, but it doesn't like to be run at 60hz and i have no way of running it at 50hz.

Ah, that's Ai no summer. It's just another crappy idol / singer dating game set in the British owned but now closed down Sea Gia in Miyazaki. An indoor beach with sea built right next to, yep you guessed it, a real beach and sea. DOH !
