Recent highlights.



Took a surprising amount of time to find a copy of AMFV that's complete and in good nick. The other game came with it.



Various games, including Shin Samurai Spirits which was sealed until yesterday. Also got a Famicom game (missing the instructions) and Final Bubble Bobble (horrible condition) for the Mark III both from Play Asia Don't think I'll be buying the more fragile second hand games from them in the future and they're crazy to tightly shrinkwrap FC and MKIII stuff.

Well it's arrived.



The screwdriver next to the console is a sign of things to come.

I was expecting it to have something like a blown fuse or dodgy solder joint. But what I wasn't expecting was a broken circuit board. Pity really as the packaging and model number HAA-2510 do lead me to beleive that this would have been a pure Japanese model.



Close up images of the damage inflicted upon the board by some heavy handed 'oik. I can only imagine the pure terror that went through the console at that moment.

Such a real shame as the console casing itself is in good shape, there's only one noticible scratch near the cartridge bay and it's clear now that it was probably created as the result of the final death blow being delivered.

Still I knew pretty much to expect a DOA unit and that's exactly what I got, at least the pretty red LED still works.

I haven't decided yet, but I might get the top half mounted on a plaque and stuck on the wall to start my own big game collection of deceased consoles.

Really? Hmm...when I play a game vertically I don't think there's enough plastic to hold onto and still be able to control the game comfortably. If they extended the plastic on the side a little bit more below the thumb pads it would be perfect.

Had Majora's Mask through for the N64 today (for collection rather than playing as I have the Cube Zelda collection).

Despite me asking specifically for it to be securely packaged in a box the retarded seller still sent it in a jiffy bag. What is it with some idiots. List their items as A1 condition and complete then do that?! Now I have a dented box and scuffed corners, not an A1 condition MM!

Don't think I can be arsed dealing with another abnoxious seller. May just file a paypal dispute on his ass!

Happens all the time f'ing pricks on ebay. Unless the seller agrees in advance to box games up i dont bother. Some twat once sent me a boxed gba game in an enverlope! Not even a jiffy, the sort of enverlope you'd post an xmas card in!The mind boggles. Turned out to be a fake anyway but thats not the point.

Had the same problem fairly recently, bought a sealed PS1 game for the collection - came in a jiffy and was all ****ed up.

Tried to get some compensation but that failed and now the seller won't respond. Really is annoying when you get people like this.

Edit: Keeping things on topic. Got my copy of Dodonpachi DAI-OU-JOU and DK 64 today.

With the release of Last Hope and the upcoming Trigger Heart and Karous, I decided it was as good a time as any to try to finish off my Dreamcast collection.
So, to compliment my modded PAL one, a JP console was in order plus a load of Japanese games (and a PSC one too)

Bought from eBay, Playasia and mainly these very forums. Cheers again to all who hooked me up with some of the stuff I was after (still got a few left in my thread in the wants forum too )
