SuperPotato in Akihabara. I needed something to play on my NeoGeo Pocket Color, and Chuchu Rocket was just an impulse buy. I seem to have randomly started collecting DC games...

Yeh, I am after more NGPC games. Love that system. The ministick is just amazing input control.

I have started collecting Saturn games by accident too. Bought 79 the other day on yahoo... linky

I don't really know which are the rare or expensive games there, but I know which ones I like (I have 400 backups and now want the originals it seems!).

That's quite expensive for ChuChu. I picked up about 6 copies of the game 25p each just to replace my PAL DC game cases, and threw the games away.

Waste of space really - they're worse than freebie discs on magazines. Not even worth the postage cost to give them away for free.

Good quality DC cases (like PS1 cases) are hard to find though, and eBay prices can be a lot.

That SFII Interactive Movie has a nice sequence of Chun-Li doing a fireball during the Vega fight, which wasn't in the theatrical/DVD film release.

Bought a few boxed Famicom games recently, this one, Guardic Gaiden (Guardian Legend in the USA) turned up yesterday:



The poster-looking thing I think may actually be an iron-on t-shirt transfer or something. It's felty to look at but feels kind of stiff. It shows a cross-section of the artificial planet where the game takes place.

It's a pretty neat game. It's a combination of Zelda-style overhead adventuring where you discover items, weapons, keys etc and fight bosses, and vertical shooter sections where you pilot a space craft (which is actually the main character ). Should have a couple more in the next few days including Super Contra which Yakumo has just posted for me

Got some PCE games, an exciting lot for me.

Unfortunately they weren't packaged very well and about half of them have suffered cracked/damaged cases in transit

I'm guessing the helicopter game is Tiger Heli.

Also I have a Famicom cart with the same art and title as the baseball game next to Vigilante. The Famicom one is called Famista 90 but that one has three or four extra characters on the title (prolly saying something about it being on the PC-E) and obviously the different year.
