It should arrive from Japan tomorrow or Friday, but I picked up a few titles this week to kick start me. Not Nintastic levels of mint, but pretty tidy.
Love the Super Famicom. I've been thinking about getting one myself recently; only slight concern being the battery back-up factor, though I understand new batteries can be fitted relatively easily. When I get my head around this I might treat myself to a system with F-Zero

Not strictly retro (or is it?) but my SLG-3000 scanline generator arrived through the post today:
Very pleased, can't wait to try it out with a few retro consoles and the PS3 via the HDBox Pro.

Anything that outputs over VGA. Preferred input resolution is 640x480 but it's running at 1024x768 in the above pictures. There's a very informative thread about it over at the shmups forum. The best part is that it runs passively, so there's no extra plug in the overburdened adapter living under my desk. You can wire an on/off switch to it too, and it has a potentiometer so you can vary the intensity of the scanlines with a simple twist of the knob.

Unboxed all the super famicom games Nintastic sent me now. Technically I like to think of these as free as we did a trade. (well, there was no money exchanged!) I'll only post up what were the main highlights for me, but this is about half of what I got from him........
