And do you know the od thing about it? It's still in English but with Japanese subtitles I've only had a quick go but already I'm getting annoyed with the guy talking about his bad head every 10 seconds.

Argh. Darkseed was terrible. Excellent artwork, but a godawful game.

Picked up Bubble Bobble Featuring Rainbow Islands for 50p at the car boot sale yesterday. Also got Final Fantasy VIII & IX for ?2 all in - will be ebaying them as they always go for daft money on there. Was chuffed with the Bub 'n' Bob steal though - but does this game have the worst boxart ever? Jesus.

Art of Fighting and KOF '94 for the AES have arrived over the last week, not bad for ?18 each. KOF still looks impressive 11 years on!

You jammy bugger ! That was a PAL exclusive as well wasn't it? Did Taito actually do the conversion or was it by Acclaim In-House programmers?

It was done in-house, I believe.

That's some pretty stinky box art right there.

I just got hold of Lunar and Lunar 2 - the 'Complete' versions for the Playstation. Jolly nice little packages they are too!

Speaking of bad box art I got Strikers 1945 II for the PS1 last week. I think 'naff' is the word.

Was done by Acclaim - there is an arranged version of Rainbow Islands on there which, I have to say, is an absolute beauty. Bubble Bobble is pretty much arcade perfect, too. A lovely game, and one I am going to be playing a hell of a lot, too.
