And, best of all, he won't accept my boxed Zelda: OoT. Why, you ask; because it's not a UK version! It's a PAL version (gold cart, Collector's Edition) from Australia, but that's not good enough. He wouldn't accept the HuCards (not surprising) or even an Ascii Saturn joystick. But, after all this, I ended up with a trade in value of ?108. Not bad considering he wouldn't accept half the stuff.
All sounds fair enough to me - just doing his job. Staff will be told to refuse incomplete machines (especially tat like PS1/N64), I always was when I worked for Game & CeX back when I was at school.

And Nintendo do not allow the sale of non-EU games, PAL or otherwise. Small indies can get away with it, larger chains will not.

      Some decent saturn games:

      Taito Chase HQ
      Groove on fight
      Fighters History Dynamite
      Fighting Vipers
      Decathlete
      France 98: Road to win

Yep I agree. Theres nothing wrong with not accepting consoles without the leaads, as I doubt many people give them in alone or would want to buy a console without leads.

as for the games, yeah thats a bit of bummer, I iminage they'll change there polocies at some point though. Cant have all those people going to cex instead now can we?

Not particularly impressive in terms of rarity but I got an almost-mint, complete UK Pal Megadrive Ghouls N' Ghosts for 50p from a charity shop yesterday.

I got myself a complete, mint, factory sealed copy of Star Ocean: Second Story for PSX. Now I just gotta find out how much that is worth ... I think I just made a steal, seeing as I paid all of ?3 for it.

I also found HEAPS of old Neo-Geo CD games, including Art of Fighting 2, some football game I've never seen before and several factory sealed, mint Samurai Shodown 2. Are those worth picking up for ?3 a piece? At same price, Legaia (factory sealed, mint) and Enemy Zero (factory sealed, mint). Worth picking up? Anyone here who'd like them?

Ah. Also, Mr. Driller for the Dreamcast. Mint, factory sealed, ?3, NTSC-J. Worth picking up?

Actually, no. From a tiny little videogame store in Singapore chinatown. It's pretty close to Sim Lim Square, if anyone should happen to be in the vincinity.

So. Anything I should get? I'm going back there in a couple of days to get a proper list of what they got. My Japanese isn't *that* good yet, so I was unable to see what most of the NTSC/J games were. This could be a great place to start a Saturn or Neo-Geo collection. ^_^

They had some variant of Metal Slug there too. I'm going to buy that. I didn't know that was so pricey before I came here.

Here are few pictures of stuff I got over the last week or so. Still missing a few items though.

a load of Saturn games from top left to bottom right - Street Fighter Zero 2 Dash, Let's Travel Japan Game, Nekketsu Oyako, Mahou Tsukai Ni Naru Houdo, Capcom Generations 5, Monster Slider, Game Of Life DX, Let's Make a Pro Soccer Team 2, Roommate, Area 51, Vatlva and Princess Maker 2. Actually, Vatlva turned out to be a sample copy. The full game is present just like the retail version mind you.

Also got Eldarado Gate 3 & 4 factory sealed on Dreamcast and the first ever Bubblegum Crisis OST CD.

Gems of this weeks buys are Batsugun which is missing the spine but was a steel at only 18 pounds after postage Very luck with that one. And also the game that makes RSG look common (well it is really. Not hard to get as long as you have the cash), Stella Assault fully mint and complete. wasn't cheap but well worth the cash. Looks lovely when you switch on the interlace mode.

Is that a genuine loose Zero 2 Dash? Thats interesting. Didn't know it existed, I thought just the old Zero 2 had a satakore release.

Capcom generations 5 is totally teh leet btw, best ports of the old SF2's ever released.

Yep, that is a genuine loose Zero 2 Dash. I thought Dash only came with the Street Fighter Collection and that the normal Zero 2 was released again on the Satkore lable. The only reason I bought it was because I've never seen one before. Already have DASH with the Street Fighter Collection. The cover art on the Satkore DASH is also pretty cool.
