    Biggest problem with the CD32 was that for the price, it was awfully under-powered as a games machine. It didn't have the specialist sprite-handling hardware that the Mega CD and most of the contemporary cart-based consoles had. Added to which, saving games was a nightmare. Commodore ballsed up really, they should've just made a CD-ROM drive for the AGA Amigas.

      They developed it and announced it, but Commodore folded before it was ever released...
