Actually I went back to Super Tennis the other day and tried a fair bit of the circuit mode and a two player match (lost 6-4 6-0 ) It's aged a lot better than I thought, I'm not too keen on the way the CPU seems to hit drop shots off your serve(!) but it's still a great game.

This is a fantastic game, and even though its looking a bit dodgy now (although the intro still seems impressive - and I'm sure must have blown my socks off in the early 90's!!)

Extremely playable even now, the sort of game you end up throwing the controller around just to help "reach" those impossible down the line passing shots

Remember flying to the US a few years ago and the seats had embedded SNES's and Super Tennis was one of the games - made my day that did

I remember being very impressed with this at the time. The mode7 display when changing sides between games was excellent. Playability was amazing, a little harder to pick up than Virtua Tennis, but more rewarding I felt as skill improved. It was really solid and responsive. I never felt once I tried to do a shot and something else sluggishly happened that made me screw up (I felt this a lot with Top Spin!!) - Certainly one of my favourite snes titles, a true classic, mario tennis hasn't come close since
