My dream is to make a retro game/ coffee/ cake shop. Each weekend I will host torunaments. ?3 to enter and there will be a sweet prize bought with the winnings. Like a pub quiz sort of. People will flock from across the planet to visit us. Street fighter alpha 3 tournaments, king of fighters torunaments, bomberman tournaments - everything. It'll be ace.

Then, when we make our first million We can open up a game themed pub next door called 'the gradius' It'll be so fantastic, seriously. you know thos brass ducks that old people have nailed to their walls? a small one, medium one and a big one? well, I'd custom make some brass vic vipers for behind the bar. there will be arcades running gradius and we'll have a range of cocktails named after bosses from the gradius games. the most powerful cocktail will be called 'destroy the core' - 5 parts whiskey, 2 parts wine and topped up with tomato juice with a marshmallow vic viper floating on top.

No doubt some chancer will open a pub called the parodius opposite us, but we will relish the competition and make ever more exciting cocktails and revamp our sign outside so it incorperates a more dynamic picture of vic viper shooting twice as many lazers out. We could even hire really cute girls to work there but dress them up as those little walker bots from the gradius games. Topless walker bots, so we can see the little 'chest cores' poking out!

Maybe we could have a amateur dramtics night with local groups doing live action plays based on gradius. Think how cool that could be...

That would be Gamefocus. Been in there a few times, not a bad place. They used to have site you could order from at gamefocus.co.uk but it's been dead for ages now.

would be so great. A nice big hazelnut latte, a slice of homemade lemon drizzle cake and a session on streetfighter 3. Honestly, I think my plan has serious potential.

I think the cakes I am going to sell will be

          Lemon drizzle cake
          (puchi) Carrot cake
          Mixed berry muffins
          Cinamon whirlo's
          cherry pie
          Rasberry cheescakes
          custard and apple donut plains
          orange cake
          chocolate cakes (3 different kinds)
          princess Peach pie
          Pumkin pie
          And pikmin pie.

And a huge selection of different coffees, smoothies and milkshakes.

And a gigantic projector screen with retro games playing on it. DOes anyone want to fund my venture?

I'm not a qualified baker but I sure can cook me a cake when I need to.
I think all the cakes should be based around video games. Pikmin pie is my favourite so far. I wonder how much it would cost me to set something like this up?

              Cake making machines - ?2000
cups and spoons and small plates for the cakes - ?600
              Coffee making machines - ?2000
              tables and seats - ?2000
              Projector screen - ?2000
And then I'd need stock but maybe that could come later... I could start off as just a game themed coffee shop and then expand to full import store later on. I'll forget this bit for the time being.
              Nice decorations - ?1005
i wonder how much I would have to pay on rent and council tax and bills etc... probably loads. I'll factor that in for ?20,003 for 6 months. does that sound right? It would be pretty handy to have a few arcade machines too...
It would cost me a pretty penny, thats for sure.

on the contrary my dear moderator. The topic is still very much geared toward the lack of decent import shops in manchester and, er... well, You can't have an import shop without videogame themed cakes... so, er... Yes... I am wrong, aren't I?

                                Sorry
