LOL someones having a laugh, the club nintendo zelda collection is pretty rare but not $299 rare. It's currently doing the rounds at the ?60-70 mark, god knows where the seller pull that $299 from (probably his ass)

Is that Zelda the same as the bonus disc that came with the US version of Wind Waker? If so he's definately having a laugh.

Yeah pretty much identical except the games are japanese versions, however theres a few differences. The famicom versions of zelda are the disk versions, the manual is in full colour & quite franly beautiful, it comes in a double case so you can put the first bonus disk in as well.

The reason it's rare is because unlike other countries where you could pick it up pretty easily, in japan you could only get it from club nintendo & it was pretty expensive at 400 points. Was only on there for a few months before it vanished forever.

But even still its nowhere near worth that, on yahoo auctions they usually go round the 10,000-17,000 yen mark, theres a few unopened ones that have gone on for 20,000 but they never sell.

Not sure if this is completley over the top or not because I've never really looked into buying the game until the last couple of days, but I nearly fell off my chair at this price.

Even if it is sealed I doubt it's worth this much...

EDIT - Just looked at some of his other auctions & there's a brand new Derby Stallion Saturn on there for ?307 & some other games at around the ?140 mark each as well

Did B Garrega originally come in a thick cd case? Cause the one I used to have didn't and I've seen others that don't.

That Mega Drive looks either JPN or AZN I can't tell, anyone know which it is? He's local to me so if it doesn't go I might get in touch and see about buying that. I doubt there's anything decent in amongst the games though.
