YOU asked for peoples opinions didnt you? Did you mean just positive opinions?
Of course i didnt want just 'positive' opinions... I wanted opinions about 'the game'.
I had already mentioned it was overpriced, which you repeated.
And the only other comments i could see was 'not cool' and 'rules say you cant do this'...

I maybe getting slightly defensive but i definately dont want to start fights of flame wars here.
I apologise for my defensiveness, I just thought there could be some interesting discussion about this and the rental copies of PS1 games. Especially as they are slightly different to the retail releases and wanted by certain die hard collectors.

I know it is a steep price, however its not ripping anyone off...
Until I see another rental version appear on eBay, my price will remain high.
I have taken Ant's (t-bone-retro) constructive comments into consideration and revised my auction. There is a best offer option avaliable now and the price has dropped.

Fair enough mate, 'tone' is a difficult thing to imply on the net, my intention wasnt to have a go at you, was supposed to be a friendly heads up. There no hard feelings here mate

Good stuff, you had me worried for a minute there. I need to re read the rules, im sorry about that. The last thing I want to do really is promote my own auctions, if anything id like to keep them separate from what i post here

Im just fairly new here and really enjoying my time here, Im getting own well with alot of you which is great!
I was just worried someone was homing in about to scream the word 'n00b' and attack and bring it all down!
Cause as you quite rightly put it, its hard to understand 'tone' on the net!

        So no hard feelings taken

wow, anagrama is selling his collection.

It won't be long til i sell mine i suppose as i haven't bought a proper sega game for about 2 years now. Plus it takes up alot of space in my room and my room is a nightmare for all the crap i collect

            Jesus!

This Zelda box set is a nice item and I'd never even heard of one before but all the same I don't think it's worth over £300.

That's only the third one I've seen (not that I've been looking hard). It's a toughy either way to find...

Not too shocking yet (bar a couple perhaps?), but expecting at least some of those lots to get very ridiculous.

Is there anything particularly rare there?

                    Wouldn't know.

Nor me, that's why I asked. Any of the SNES/NES/GB collectors help?

                      Comment

Yes, there are many rare games in there. Not really that expensive ones, since people tend not to like GB/NES games, but rare none-the-less. But since they are all new and the auction is well advertised, I suspect most of the lots will end in the several-hundreds pounds range.

The market is different for US games, however from what im aware of...
Rares ive seen so far.... (to my knowledge at least!)

                          NES
Bubble Bobble 2 (high value unsealed, worth a fortune sealed)
                          Fire and Ice
                          Dragon Warrior IV
                          Panic Restaurant
                          Colour a Dinosaur

                          SNES
Marvel Super Heros in: War of the Gems
                          Ardy Lightfoot
                          Hagane: the Final Conflict
                          Prince of Persia II
                          Ninja Gaiden Trilogy
                          Wild Guns
                          Castlevania - Dracula X
Final Fight Guy (Very very rare)

As for gameboy i cant really say!
But some of these games alone could fetch over $500, even more
                          Hope this helps!

Well out of the Game Boy lots no. 26 is already just under $200 so I'm guessing something in there is rare. Mohammed Ali boxing maybe? A lot of those games were only licensed for one run and then rebranded as generic titles (like Punch Out!) which also why the SNES lot with George Foreman Boxing in it is so high.

Final Fight Guy US release is not as rare as you might think Caut... but it does command a good price because it was a Blockbuster exclusive. I've been after copies of Wild Gun and Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for a while, but I doubt I'll be getting them through these auctions

As you can see though, one of the SNES auctions is already way, way higher than the others. Why? Because of the Final Fight Guy... those damned sealed collectors. I don't think I've ever seen it sealed!

I had a sealed Zero Kamikaze Squirrel at one point acquired for a few quid, sold it for $90. That's the low end of the sealed market even though it's a rarity 7 game...

I've felt the love of the sealed collectors recently. I've had a stack of xbox ps2 and gc games that I've bought for a couple of quid but not played that I decided to shift. I've been getting between ?20 -?30 for most of them and they're worth no more than a fiver unsealed on the whole.
