My brother has a Sony trinitron CRT, which must be around 21". It really is great. I'm going to try and steal it when he switches over to a larger LCD screen.

Does the KV14CT1U have NICAM? The only thing about portables I don't like is that they're mono.../<superplug>

This basic spec says mono, but it also says it has two speakers. If this is the case then it's a dual mono set, and it's quite likely that it will work in stereo with devices connected via SCART.
Another tell-tale giveaway is three RCA phono sockets.

From experience 25" upwards the picture quality degrades slightly. For example play SF Zero on a 25" and look at the energy bars once some life has been lost, the red will have some kind of transparency effect. You won't see this on 21" and below.
I have a PS2 with 21" Trinitron via RGB Scart set-up in my games room. I'm not sure it can bet bettered.Last edited by J0e Musashi; 21-08-2008, 11:45.Kept you waiting, huh?

Just get some cables made for all your consoles that can output L+R audio to external speakers.
