So what's happening with you're duplicates ? ebay ? And what yer doing with your jap stuff ? Selling that to fund the pal ? Or are you going for a full jap collection after the pal ! Now that would be a collection

Yeah I'll probably sell the duplicates on ebay and may put some on here, In fact I have just started a new sales/trade thread -

I only really collect US and JAP games which were not released in PAL. I don't fancy going for a complete Jap collection, That would be too crazy! lol

I've just updated the first page of this thread showing how many games I now own and showing the ones I still need.

              As you wish peeps! lol

I have been very busy so have been unable to update this thread for a couple of weeks but here are the SNES games I have picked up in that time, Enjoy the pics! -

A very nice haul I'm sure you'll agree!?
Mega Man X2 cost me over £100 as did Harvest moon but thay are both in excellent condition and will only increase in value IMO.

I'm very pleased to have got the last of the four Dragon Ball Z games I needed but may try and get better condition copies of two of them.
Happy to have got the two Ren & Stimpy games in quick succession and Brawl Bros & Mario's Time Machine too as I've been after them for ages!

I will update the first page on this thread on the weekend to see how many games I now need. I think I must have over 400 now

              A

P.S Check out these two cool SNES items I picked up at a car boot sale recently -

Both were bought for only a few quid from a guy who said he once owned a video game shop, These were some of the last items of stock which had been stored away for years!

I know the boxes are a bit tatty but inside the items are brand new! I've not tried the wireless controllers (2 in the box) but the TRI-STAR UFO device is class as it lets you play NES games on a SNES including JAP Famicom games!

This Converter inserts into your Super Nintendo system and lets you play SNES, NES or Famicom games

Here are the games I have picked up in the last few weeks.

Will update page one of this thread later to see how many games I now need to complete the collection.

I know there are a couple of US SNES games in the picture but I've been after US versions of those games as you can't properly play the PAL versions in 60hz

I love the SNES/SFC Super Gameboy controller which happens to be brand new!
Does anyone know if this controller ever get a US or UK release?

I must admit it's getting harder by the week to keep getting games and is becoming more of a chore than a pleasure at this time of year

I still beleive I can complete the collection by the end of this year though

                  Andrew

I have those pads. Nabbed them in HK in 1997. Sadly, but expectedly, they suck.

those will be like hens teeth to get!!!!
really regret getting rid of my pal games years ago, had over 100, and most of the above ones as well.

annoying as 15 years ago you could have them for a few quid.

good luck with what you've to get, not gonna be easy, as the majority of them are pretty poor games and therefore i think pretty rare, in some cases you might never find a boxed version other than from another collector or someone wanting silly money.....

                        Spiderman/Xmen isn't rare is it?

boxed with instruction, you'll find most of them will be.....
easy(ish) to get cart only, but who keeps empty boxes
and the snes cardboard boxes, 7/10 condition.

                          not too bad

Alien vs. Predator - They show up very rarely in Australia complete, a mint one I would expect about $150-200 AUD, a decent one for $100, more hard to find than expensive

Breath of Fire II - PRetty cheap and easy to find complete, I saw a couple for BIN's for 50 EURO with maps, manuals etc

Captain America and the Avengers - uncommon complete, but cheap when it comes up.

Demon's Crest - another uncommon, but popular capcom release, a nice complete copy for $100 or so, in this case, more expensive than rare

Dirt Trax FX - suprisingly difficult to find complete, but quite a cheap game when it does show up.

Fighting Spirit - Pretty hard fighter to find complete

Mega Man 7 - There are a million cart onlys in germany, complete can be tough to find, you missed out on a near mint one that sold at auction the other day for 75 EURO or so.

Mega Man X3 - a few complete legit PAL copies of this have shown up in the past few months, looking at about 300 EURO or so

Might and Magic II - English can be hard to find, make sure it has that damn map.

Operation: Logic Bomb - Very difficult game to find complete

Pirates of Dark Water, The - German only, not to tough to find, can be pricey

Run Saber - another uncommon game

Soul Blazer - English version Can be very hard to track down. German version is a dime a dozen.

Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge - I could have picked up an excellent CIB of this the other day for 10 EURO, you can pick this up anywhere in the world as it was multi launage release.

Utopia: The Creation of a Nation - uncommon but normally cheap when it shows up at auction

Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel - Now this is an odd one. You can get a legit PAL German version, with German PAL box and manual with EUR cart. You can get an english "PAL" version as well... but when it was released in Australia, it was just released with a US box and Manual, with a PAL cart. The box has a Imported by GMC AUstralia sticker on the back, and Australian rating symbol stuck on.

Do you have a complete Joe and Mac 3 or Sonic Blast Man?

I am quite sure you know all this, but just thought i'd throw it out there for other people

Beat me to the reply mate!

For starters UTOPIA and SPIDERMAN are not at all rare.

I know some of the games I still need are going to be hard to get but I know many places to look which other do not And no I won't reveal my sources lol

There are many games I own which are far rarer than most of these ones so I am well on the way to completing my collection. In fact if I wanted cart only I could get every game I need within a week no probs.

Also as for Fighting Spirit, isnt that just a variant of Tuff Enuff?
