Terranigma (PAL English language version). A game that was better than certain other RPGs, but as it appeared so late in the Super NEs lifecycle, and hasn't got the Squaresoft branding, it's destined to languish in obscurity forever.

Amongst many things I've sold and later regretted, my boxed and mint Japanese Megadrive collection is high on the list. It included Slap Fight, New Zealand Story, Snow Bros, Rainbow Islands, and Pengo....sob sob...it cost me a small fortune to assemble, but would now cost a five-tune to re-buy...sob sob...

I will always regret selling my boxed PC Engine Duo.

I was young and I needed the cash back then.

Selling my Panasonic Q Gameboy Player was also a fcuk-up on my part - if I'd known that getting them nowadays was next to nigh-on impossible, I never would've parted with the bloody thing.

Ah yes t'was a brilliant game. The music on it is pretty good as well. I still like the fact that the Yanks get all upset that we got it and they didn't (for a change)!

I sold mine along with the Q recently, but I have another two identical systems anyway....

I regret selling my c64 years back... for little money, it must be said. That was a bit of my life history really, as it's where I started gaming and having an interest in technology. Also regret selling my SNES stuff back in 1998, although to a lesser degree (mainly as I've since reacquired most of the original games I had anyway ).

              You lucky man.

Long shot, but I don't suppose that you'd be willing to part with a Q Gameboy Player? Or at least, point a brother in the right direction with regards to sourcing one...?

I do have one but it came attached to a faulty Q. I'd rather sell both items together as I don't think I'll be able to sell the faulty Q on its own. If you're interested PM me for further details.

I don't regret my C64 going, it broke. I regret not keeping all the 300 odd games I had for it.
Like you it was a major starting point in my gaming life and would love to play it again for real.

Yeah, I had a large amount of software/games for it, including numerous cartridges. Don't know what I was thinking... guess I was too young to know how much I'd regret it later on!

Same here, especially the 4 in one with Flimbo,Bigtop etc. Also had finally got hold of the full game of Emlyn Hughes just as it died! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Yeah, the 4-in-1 cart that came with the machine... that got played to death by my family, especially Fiendish Freddy's Big Top-o-Fun (which I never managed to beat). Played Flimbo's Quest a fair bit, my brother was always playing International Soccer, and my mum would spend hours on Klax. /nostalgia

Funnily enough I had forgotten about Freddy, I adored it. I was just browsing the net the other day and I stumbles across the C64 console and the article had info about the game! I was so shocked I had forgotten completely so went straight to You Tube.
Have to check to see if it is on my Xbox rom list!!

                            Hope so!!

I sold a mint copy of Bangai-O for the N64 about a year ago. I had a massive clear out of retro games at the time and got rid of a load of stuff I never played in order to pay off some debts. Most of the stuff I don't miss but I still think about that game and how much I loved it. One of the worst things was that I never really played it that much despite the fact that it's one of my favourite gaes of all time. It just sat the shelf and I couldn't justify keeping the N64 for just one game. I'm sure it will appear as a download for one of the current gen consoles but it wont be the same without the proper controller.

I regret selling my Sony MSX hitbit with like....20 mint konami cartridges + Konami newsletters ..it was about 10 years ago, and I was stupid!. Strange thing was it all "went missing" in the post, and luckily at least got my money back.

The other thing was my NeoGeo CD collection (which I have now rebuilt) I think I was a skint student at the time and sold it to some scally shop who gave me naff all for it. Nothing really collectable, but it was all mint.
