The problem with these blokes is they expect to be worshipped by other retro gamers for their "amazing" sealed collections. The problem for them here is we love playing the games. Well, that and the fact they all seem to be total bell ends. Thats a sweeping generalisation obviously, I dare say some of them are normal................

Correct me if I am wrong, but most of the early PAL stuff didn't come sealed anyway, SNES and NES anyway.

^^true for NES not sure about SNES - but you can still tell if the box has been opened

well, with NES all the 3rd party games didn't have a sticker seal so they can be unopened with no seal, i believe this is what blast is also refferring to

It must be pretty much impossible for some games. Even more recent stuff isn't often sealed as the shop often removes the game to stick the box on the shelve (unless you buy everything as soon as it's released I suppose).

I remember asking for sealed copies in GAME so I didn't end up with a 'new' game that some scrote had returned after completing with games old 14 day policy. They'd of course be opened when i got home.

On the other side of things, I reckon with US NES Stadium Events, the story was something about it being released, then recalled so very few games still exist. If that happened nowadays and I had a sealed one i'd keep it that way and just buty the re-release.
