I thought I read we only had Plus in Europe.
For Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus on the GameCube, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "PSO Plus differences".
Have both versions of the game myself, split screen multiplayer was ace in PSO1&2 even if the frame rate did drop a little.

Yeah. When I said the best version I kinda of meant that it is still playable (unlike the Xbox version) and it has offline split screen (unliked the Dreamcast version).
Used to play 4 player split screen with mates. Would play with one irregularly and the others rarely so I'd be level 60, another would be 25 or so and the rest would barely be level 15.

Not 100% true the Xbox version did have an offline mode, however you can only play it on an Xbox that has an XBL account on it. My box still has my XBL account on it so I can still play the Xbox version offline.
These day it's almost impossible to play on any old Xbox as most won't have a XBL account on and and so the game won't start. I can't remember if it had a one time online activation or not but if you have set up an XBL account previously for PSO1&2 it will work.
Mind you the Xbox version was a huge flop so there are no players using it these days.

These sealed games Tomato just bought reminds me to mention a site I accidentally stumbled in to recently while looking for a new copy of a game, sealed collectors heaven. Jesus wept, what a bunch of weirdos. It's the place where all the morons who buy VGA slabbed games hang out. I think I'll set up an account there and just post videos of me unsealing games, just to upset them.
