Lame. You make it sound like owning the definitive port of After Burner II would be a waste of money. So much for making a comprehensive video!

And not to be pedantic, but would it really hurt you to spell-check the text before you put it in your videos?

Asura, I remember something about a 60fps cheat for OutRun but didn't know After Burner had it as well.
I seem to recall all of the SEGA AGES collection having it.

I do spell check but the thing to keep in mind is these are put together in the early hours of the morning so I do tend to miss stuff every now and then. This After Burner one was completed at around 3:30 am. I wish I didn't have to do the videos so late but it's the only time I get

Fair enough. I'm obviously splittin' hairs - keep on keepin' on with the fine work that you're doing.

And when are you gonna get around to doing that Caveman Ninja BotP episode?

Caveman Ninja would be interesting. The 16 bit ports were really different!

I've always assumed that most Amiga arcade conversions didn't take full advantage of the machine. I guess that's for various reasons: 1. Not very good support from the original creator; 2. Pressure from the bosses to finish the conversions quickly; 3. Programmer ineptitude.

I would think that a good programmer with good support and plenty of time, could have delivered better Amiga ports of all the classic arcade games like After Burner. The one really bad conversion that sticks in my mind is Chase HQ. I had played plenty of Amiga racers that made me think the Chase HQ conversion could be good, but it was terrible. I was gutted.

It's a shame that the Amiga wasn't popular in Japan, because I'm sure the best Japanese devs could have done wonders with the machine. Of course, they had the X68000, but it was incredibly expensive. The Amiga was cheap in comparison. Bonk/PC Kid got a nice conversion to the Amiga, renamed B.C. Kid. , which impressed me far more than the likes of Zool.

When I'm actually any good at the Mega Drive version man, that is one hard game. I have a bootleg copy that I made my own cover for. Check it out

Don't worry, some of us appreciate your work regardless of a few minor spelling errors.

                    Yeah these are great.

It cracks me up that literally every time you do one of these videos, the first post is somebody complaining about missing versions, aspect ratios or spelling mistakes!

                      Don't be demotivated, Yakumo.

Always enjoy seeing these, especially when it's games I have fond memories of. Also nice to see the versions I've never played like the X68000 titles, which are usually visual gaming porn.

Good grief. Gotta love self-appointed moral arbiters.

Nobody said that Yakumo's work wasn't appreciated or that it wasn't quality. Is constructive criticism not allowed? Are we only allowed to offer gushing praise?

Very, very cool. Kudos for adapting the original coin-op poster art.

It's not that, feedback and suggestions for improvements are probably welcome and they always promote some discussion, but I just imagine poor Yakumo spent and exhausted checking in to see what the guys think and the first comment always seems to be some criticism!
