Underwhelmed, was hoping at least to hear my Duo was shipping.

I believe announcing the next system before they’ve even shipped the last one is the norm though.

        Interesting!

The small print at the bottom of the page states that it won't support OpenFPGA. That's a shame.

          Just saw this.

Very excited about the idea, but whenever I get close to ordering a previous Analog console, I just think emulation is so much more convenient and cheaper, I won’t get or see the benefit.

Very interested in this though as I’ve always felt the N64 has a hard life in emulation, with nothing quite nailing the OG experience. Excited to see what Analog can bring to the table in regards to game experience, upscaling and output.

Analogue OS 2.0 will be released by end of 2023 (with openFPGA display mode support)4. DAC support with Analogue Dock/Analogue Pocket is coming early next year - we're working hard to make DAC support meet our standards to be the definitive way to connect to legacy CRTs & PVMs.

Finally at least some signs of life on these. It's Analogue OS 2.0 and the Pocket adapters that I'm personally waiting on.

                Various quotes from https://www.pastemagazine.com/games/...4k-nintendo-64

Anything that connects to the N64 via its cartridge expansion slot (cartridge pak, rumble pak, transfer pak, or even the very rare Bio-Sensor that came with Tetris 64 in Japan) will work with Analogue 3D, so long as players connect an original N64 gamepad to the system.
Taber suggests that optional toggles will enable “overclocking, running smoother, eliminating native frame dips,” and other performance-specific tweaks.
The relatively rare 64DD add-on, exclusive to Japan, will not natively connect to Analogue 3D.
                More at the link.

30 seconds in Photoshop gets you a better look at the controller too

Can't say I want one of these myself (and I have a soft spot for the N64), but I'll be very interested to see what Analogue do with this given that Nintendo couldn't be arsed to make an N64 Classic Mini and especially given that they themselves still appear to struggle with N64 emulation.

                        Hasn't gone on sale yet.

Edit: Though this may be commentary on the availability of their products generally.

That's based upon 8BitDo Ultra controller. I have one in white that I use for PC gaming. As long as its to the same build quality, that's a fantastic controller to have.

I'm interested but I think by the time this comes out the Mister core will be advanced enough to make me think twice. I will probably buy that contoller though.
