Will Everdrives etc work?

Unless I'm missing something, Everdrives have pretty much worked with every Analogue device to date.

Maybe the Pocket is another story entirely? Would need somebody else on here to confirm that.

It plays standard N64 carts, so presumably, it would have to work?

Sometimes certain Everdrives have been finicky for a bit on some Analogue devices but they usually receive software updates to fix those kinds of problems.

You probably won't need one though. Every Analogue product has had an update shortly after release to 'jailbreak' it to play ROMs off SD card anyway.

I would save your money. I don't think you will need a flash cart. Every Analogue product up to now has been compatible with playing ROMs from SD card and I don't see why the 3D would be any different.

Not sure if that bodes well or not for any potential limited editions moving forward. The amount of people in comments sections holding out for a Funtastic range is staggering.

That's what happens when you've been burned for being an early buyer one too many times... For example, Bitmap Books prints some of the most wonderful video game-related books in existence but I've grown sour on them after seeing some of the books I've purchased being reprinted in expanded forms, sometimes more than once.

Are coloured models really that big of a deal? I mean, I appreciates the OG N64s having different coloured models but it was never that much of a must-buy in my eyes.
