Caught the info about this in trickles yesterday, the first one being just "Analogue N64" which already sold me, and only got even more interesting when I saw it's also pushing 4K resolutions. Between the three-pronged controller and all of the reliance on the controller port it'll be a bit of a shame though if 8bitdo just turn up with a reskin of one of their existing pads, even though I do like them for general use.

Confirmation that the Duo and Pocket adapters are still shipping this year is great news, as is OS 2.0.

Site's updated - available in black and white models, $249.99 price tag, available to pre-order on the 21st.

Bless everyone who set my expectations on this being a $1,000 device.

I’ll try get one if I can beat all the resellers . That’s not too bad a price imo

If it comes bundled with Sin and Punishment I'm in.
I recently sold my N64 and Everdrive as the MiSTer core does such a good job. I'm curious to see the PVM effect on the Analogue system though. Might be too sharp.

The biggest concern for me is the frame processing outside of a CRT. I lasted under two minutes with my MiSTer on the OLED before tapping out. The N64 is my favourite console, but those frame rates are genuinely atrocious and borderline unplayable (depending on game, of course) on a flat panel.

I don’t need one at all, but I’d be all in for a funtastic grape or smoke one, but only if I can get a DAC for it.

The price is good and the hardware looks fantastic as always with Analogue.

But I have to say, I'd have actually preferred a more expensive device than had openFPGA capabilities. If this was more MiSTER-like and could run PS1 and Saturn cores created by the community eventually, that would have been really cool.

Still, this looks pretty great as it is.

This will deffo sellout in a way that the Analogue Duo didn't.

Tempted to drop a pre-order for this.

I'd like to get one of these eventually but I think I'm going to hang on for a year or so. I'm sure eventually they will do some colourful translucent ones, it would be cool to get one of those.

Got a black one ordered. Unfortunately the controllers can't be ordered from Analogue, but from Amazon :/ Luckily I already have an original controller and a NSO variant.

Yeah I completely forgot this was happening today but got a gentle nudge in discord and my checkout experience was still pretty straightforward at a relatively late 8 minutes past. Black unit for me too.

It looks like they're still taking orders right now so I guess they're approaching it differently from previously. I did see an email from them at about five minutes past and tried out of interest to order and found that the site was functioning fine. A lot better than when I tried to order a Pocket in the very first preorder run, that was a **** show.

Kinda umming and aaahing about buying one (for now), even though the Black model is still available.

Thinking that I might take wakka's approach and wait a year or so.

Glad to hear that the Analogue store pre-order process isn't a sh1tshow anymore though.

I’m not going to be buying this time, I need to economise. However I look forward to reading all your impressions when it arrives, I reckon it’ll be great.
