You get the Greek symbol for "Mu" - an ancient greek land like Atlantis apparently, but heres the kicker, it was in the Pacific Ocean so the myth goes.. Now, did any of you think there was anything Greek-like about the four toed statue they found? I personally thought of Atlantis, but others think Greek.. Interesting! Got that off another forum too btw.
Yeah, I started thinking about Atlantis as well, but that was, according to myth, in the Atlantic. But there is some other mythica island, you say? That could work. And as for the foot, the first thing I thought of was the Colossus of Rhodes. If this were some brother statute or something, I'd be hip to that.
Anyway, season 3 CANNOT start quickly enough.

That big bird said Hurley's name!
That was mint!
That was almost certainly a joke for fans who said the giant bird from the season 1 finale was calling out Hurley's name.
A bit like the lost community going on about how the washing machine in the Swan hatch looked too new to be in there. The writers obviously took it on board and in a later episode (Fire + Water), Libby asks Hurley about the washing machine looking newer then everything else.
LIBBY: Is this washer and dryer newer than everything else in here?
HURLEY: It washes clothes. That's all I need to know.
LIBBY: Ah, finally, someone who keeps it simple
Good ****!

wow that was pretty much a total head****
Totally confused about:
Libby\Desmond's girlfriend.
I must have missed something blatent - was Desmond's girlfriend the same person who gave him the boat in the US?
If it is Libby at the end they'll have a fun time explaining her death a few episodes ago.
In terms of Lost episodes that was one of the best, just wish the rest of the season was paced that way.
EDIT - just rewatched some scenes
Desmond's girlfriend from the scene at the stadium looks nothing like 'Libby' who gives him the boat. The woman at the end is his girlfriend
Also
the guy at the end blatently isn't Jack

Hehehe quality episodes nice finale, like the way its panning out.
Seriously think though they can only stretch it another season then it has to end, also the pace has to continue the way its been, the damn dip mid season was AGONY still can't believe 24 has ended after lost, all down to all the breaks they were so damn slow with nothing happening, just filler no killer man!
MonkeyWrench has already said...
Maybe Libby's husband was Hurley's imaginary friend, Well i noticed that Hurley's imaginary friend was called Dave and Libby said her husband was called David, so it would make sense!?.....
DAMN YOU LOST WRITERS!!!!!
Also like a geeky geek i noticed if you pause it on the dartboard in the hatch sequence bit what numbers are the darts on, on the dart boardyep
PLUS
Michael had some kind of black rash on his hand, the bit when he was against the tree when Jack approached him he seemed to be trying to hide it, does this mean Michael is infected and perhaps the Others know he is, knowing he won't get far on the boat?
Roll on september.

I think everything in this show has a purpose and reason, but I still cant
explain the polar bear, the horse, the black mist and that thing in the trees at the beginning.
Those were questions I needed answers to dammit!
Lost reminds me in a lot of ways of the movie
'The Truman Show'
, the
coordinates that they gave Michael must surely be the one way out of this, a 'door' away from the 'enclosure' of sorts.

Polar Bear & Horse - The map on the hatch door showed a "Zoo" on part of the island
Black Mist - No idea but probably linked to the "matter" as Kurgan called it which they are releasing when they push the buttons ??
The bit that has truly screwed with my head was
where Henry asks Mr Friendly about his beard - the responses from both sides are almost jovial as if they find it mildly amusing - Mr Friendly almost looks like a bumbling idiot. That and the fact they seemsed so non-plussed by the sky going nuts if it has truly brought down their "shield"
