I'm enjoying Heroes too but Lost has been great this season, mostly anyway. The last run in particular (with the exception of the Nicky and Paulo filler) have been superb TV and with some killer cliff hanger endings.

Another very interesting episode (19) which seems to be continuing the build-up towards the end of season cliffhanger.

The plan crash thing is strange. They made the point of saying that the plane was 4 miles down on a trench, so they had to send down cameras rather than divers. So they obviously confirmed the plane was the "right" one, but would they have had pictures of the passengers to confirm their identities?

Is this whole idea of it being hell another thing from the writers to throw us off the scent? I know that they have said the purgatory idea is rubbish in the past, so is this them reacting to the other constant idea that they are all in hell?

Has it been explained how the Others had a comms station which could obviously get through the interference whereas the other comms devices don't seem to be able to broadcast out/in?

Actually, I've just forgotten that the helicopter girl confirmed that they are on an island, albeit an uncharted one.

          Confused.

Just had a look at the titles of the last few episodes:

            "The Man Behind The Curtain"
            "Through The Looking Glass"

... it all sounds very revealing ... but I expect it won't be.

Another episode which has left me confused.

The plane wreckage has been found and all the bodies too

                but as Ascender pointed out

...were the identities of the bodies confirmed? If they were then are they really all in "Hell"?!?! If they weren't then...I am confused big time! But from what Locke's Dad said about how he came to be on the Island, it really does seem like he died and went to "Hell". Then that would mean the others are in "Heaven" because there communications were not blocked by anything....

                My head hurts!

                    The fact that Locke's dad

mentioned the hell thing probably means its a red herring.

Did everyone forget that Locke's Dad is a conman ? not the first person I would tust in a hurry ....

                        notice

when they try the satellite phone it shows their position as the West coast of America

I didn't take it to mean that (the sat phone) I thought it was simply

the middle point of the picture but I did notice it

Can't help thinking the whole hell thing is being thrown about because fans made such a big deal about thinking that's what it was

It's certainly ramped up a gear - if only every episode could be like that one !

                          Also,

If they were already dead how do people keep dying ?

                            And how come

Ben can suddenly walk, is that because of Locke's presence? I think the hell thing is a red herring, probably the writers teasing the fans who've been on about that for a while. Besides, if Naomi is telling the truth, she found the island. I'm assuming that since she bailed out, she sent a mayday, so the ship is on its way to the island already.

I don't know why but last night I started to wonder if

They're going to really **** with the audience and turn everything on it's head so that the "others" become the good guys (in our eyes) and the survivor camp become seen as "the enemy" - As in it'll come across that the others are trying to do stuff for good albeit in a strange fashion and it's the beach camp who are the bad guys disrupting killing people etc.

Yeah he mentioned that it was once Locke showed up that

he felt pins & needles in his legs which had been completely numb until then

                                The question then becomes

why would he be so willing to leave Locke behind if it will hinder his recovery ?

                                Is it because

He knew Locke was so driven to follow them that he'd make sure his Dad died one way or another

The image at the end of Locke

carrying his Dad on his back in the sack as if he represented all his worldly problems

                                was superbly done.
