News on what's left to come from Lost.

    * “Lost” will run three more seasons after the one that concludes this month.

    * Each of the final three seasons will only contain 16 episodes, instead of the 23 or 24 produced for the first three seasons.

    * The 16-episode seasons will run without repeats.

      I guess that's a good thing really!

Though I don't personally believe it'll only run for 3 more seasons.

I think thats a good sign for the show, they can't string it out any longer. They know with heroes currently gaining alot more popularity they have to step it up.

The writers would never introduce the 'they are all dead' storyline if that was really the case. With some 3 season to go (didn't they say it would last a total of 5 season a few months back) its got to be a red herring.

Also I always read into peoples theories on the dead idea as if they have died but are in a kind of after life untill they solve their problems. Once they have solved them the monster takes them and they go to heaven/hell. But the idea they are in Hell was new to me.

Never liked the dead idea to be honest so I'm glad its been brought up now.

They're in hell but they are mortal ? How does that work exactly ?

Also, surprised nobody has touched on the fact that Naomi arrived speaking Portugese before moving to Italian then developing a perfectly clear English dialect - Even the characters didn't mention it but surprised it hasn't come up on here ?

I just assumed she was multi-lingual and used her knowledge in some vein attempt to communicate with the beachies

She is clearly an alien (as are many of the characters in Lost), her voice translation implant went a bit wobbly when she crashed her spaceship.

Would make sense except they were all speaking English so it would seem the obvious choice for her

                  Or what Spags said

                    Awesome episode (even if the

Jacob part was super low-budget )

                    . Finally a few answers.

I was a bit confused by the language thing to be honest. That's the problem though, you just have to go with the flow in this programme as you never know if things like that will be explained or not.

I thought Lost really delivered with this episode. Certainly the best of Season 3. Yeah, questions were posed but we got answers too with lots of glorious madness on top.

Anyone think Locke is Jacob and therefore can't die? Did you see how the 'others' reacted to him beating Mikhail? It's blatant he's going to regenerate.

great episode again this week. i think lost has been really good this season. looks like the writers have realised that they actually do have to give away some answers as well as raising more.
quite a few good bits in this one that explain things that have happened this season and for the whole history of darhma/the island, but still managing to keep up the weirdness and mystery.

that little flash we saw of jacob in the chair looked like ben again to me. perhaps he has some kind of power like walt had, but he's been driven a bit crazy by it.
it looked to me like that richard(?) guy hadnt aged much (at all?) since he met kid ben in the forest too...not sure if that was intentional or not.

i cant imagine locke is going to die yet either...certainly not in a pit where nobody even knows/sees him.the island or the smoke monster will save him somehow.

I think that Richard (if that's his name) isn't human. Him and the rest of his group did put on masks for the gas though which means they're probably not tied to the smoke monster and are vulnerable in human form. I can see some people thinking he's Jacob, especially after having quietly manipulated Locke into killing his dad (or getting Sowyer to do it).

but jacob was sitting on the chair! it freaked me out and i hadda rewind and check again

and sagat's forte seems to be running out from the bushes

                                I didn't see anything.

All there was, was a close up of a black eye ball wasn't there?

Anyone else think that the 'others' are related to that four toe statue foot from S2?
