From the 30 second trailer looks like next weeks episode is the action packed one. Maybe

I liked episode 2, apart from the end! I hadn't realised it was near the end, then it does that sudden end thing and it's over. It was literally just getting really really interesting and it stops!

I was thinking the other day, when it eventually does come to an end...no matter what the writers do, do you think it'll be good enough? I mean, the questions have built and built and built and I just don't think any ending would satisfy the audience!

      Any thoughts?

I agree, which is why it'll never end with a solid answer. I'd guess that it'll spend it's last few weeks leading up to a certain conclution and then BAM, do a last minute twist that'll send the fans into a frenzy.

Then they'll do a movie a few years later and screw the whole thing up.

Ive always thought, they should be preparing for a movie of Lost, they should finish the show, then release a movie explaining everything that has happened! would be a massive blockbuster!

Along these lines if you have Sky Plus and access to the Anytime TV bit, the second episode is already up (might have been there since yesterday).

If you really can't wait until 9.00 tonight, you could watch it right now.

Never mind, that was for this weeks and last weeks only. They're not doing it anymore.

I can imagine spin off after spin off, comics, books, online only stuff...Even after the show finishes on TV it'll go on and on and on.

They do have good writers though, I'd liken this show to Prison Break which I felt was an excellent show for one series, then they decided to just keep going and they left me behind, couldn't be bothered. Lost on the other hand has me chomping at the bit every week.

                      Something I didnt notice

                      Different frames, Same Wall.

Ok so nobody is talking about this even though it is the biggest clue they gave us the whole episode. This is crucial, the frames are different on the guy who looks like Eko. They don't just change picture frames between scenes for fun. The first is taken on his way up to the bedroom the second on the way down, but its the same wall. Just different picture frames.

The flashback say something along the lines of 815 being found after 2 months of searching multiple times. Right away "For more than 2 months the salvage crew has been searching..." . They say that before Faraday cries. And on the radio right before he does his ghostwhisper act they mention it again. They deliberately show Miles' key + hand and they show him TURN the key. Just like Desmond turned the failsafe key. Desmond turned the failsafe key on day 67. 2 months of searching = 67 days after the crash. SAME DAY.

                      During each flashback:

-Faraday begins to cry for apparently no reason
                      -Pilot's TV goes blurry
-Frames on the wall change as Miles comes down steps.
                      -Chick finds the Polar bear.

Desmond turned the key at the time of all of these flashbacks and because of that he changed the past. They tried to hint at this with each flashback and especially with Miles. They zoom up on the different picture frames. And they also show him turning the key to turn his car off.

That almost makes sense you know...could be right.
                        Didn't something happen to
on the episode after the key turned? I seem to remember him having a really weird flashback.

Thought tonight's episode was great, but when Sawyer was threatening to kill Ben, and they told his daughter (Alex), to look away etc. I was thinking is he (Ben) her biological father? Or did the Others just take her from Rosseau 16 years ago or whatever. I would like to see what the answer is, in this little loophole.

                            To answer that question

he is not her biological father, I believe Rosseau was pregnant when she came onto the island, because all babies concieved on the island the mothers die during delivery, and we were told early on in the seaons that the father was killed by some kind of *diease* which leads onto another story that has kind of been forgotten about.

Im hoping the writers strike gets sorted soon which i here is happening not sure if its for definate yet, coz i dont want to watch half a season of Lost and then have it stop :/

The burning question i want answering atm is probally

the "Ben" question like why they have come for him and so forth, but im guessing we wont find that out for a while still, this weeks episode will inform us of another member of the oceanic 6, any guesses who that will be? So far we know theres : Jack, Kate and Hurley

edit: Forgot Juliet is actually not part of the oceanic crew, Sayid? Jin? Sun?

but juliet wasn't on the plane - she was there watching the plane explode in the sky with the Others, during their book club. mind you, maybe this whole changing-the-past that's been going on could twist things so that she actually was on the plane?
