Can't wait to see it at home on BD in 2D.

Agreed! Only then will I feel that I've 'watched it properly' if you know what I mean.

The Printworks IMAX 3D was very disappointing, the only thing I've seen there that really WOWED me was Dark Knight in beautiful old 2D. Maybe IMAX cinemas just work best when showing IMAX films on them.

I did see Avatar again on a Vue Cinemas digital 3D screen - it was a sharper, generally better experience, but obviously not as immersive as the IMAX.

saw it available in tescos for the blu ray and dvd....think i will will wait for the special edition though ...as much as i liked the film i would like some extras
