Yeah, I ordered Pirates 1 and 2 as well. Going to watch them both on Friday night before I see 3 on Saturday.

Well it seems play and amazon were lying about them being out this week in the uk as they are both listing them as out of stock already. So ive just ordered them from Movietyme instead now as well.

I think the US ones are locked, they arent listed on Movietymes regionfree titles, and theyve had it in stock for a few days now

They are in that list now...can anyone confirm either way? Are they region free or not?

They are region free, the boxes for both state region A, B and C. I only have a US machine to test them on but can't imagine they wouldn't be region free.

It is brilliant, watched them both twice now. The quality of video is really superb especially in Dead Mans Chest, Davy Jones and his crew don't even look like CGI characters.....they actually look as if they are there, if you know what I mean.

Curse Of The Golden Flower is out today in the US isnt it, has anyone heard if that is region free or not yet becuase id imagine it should look bloody stunning in HD.

Nice! I'll be plugging in the HDMI cable for the PS3 for this one (it's not plugged in normally, not until I get a HDMI switcher and the cheapest I can find is ?30+).

Ezee, since I know you have a HD-DVD player (seen you watching stuff on LIVE) how would you say this BD compares to something like King Kong on HD-DVD...I always consider that the HD-DVD benchmark, how do you feel about this BD?
