Disappointment offset due to watching Zombieland this evening which I thought was brilliant. Looked great, sounded meaty and was juuust long enough. Awesome cameo too!

Got me a copy of Zombieland coming too.

My two Patlabor discs and Wings of Honneamise have touched down in the UK this evening, hopefully they's arrive tomorrow.

Oh and I ordered Band of Brothers today thanks to the thread about The Pacific. I had picked the boxset up a few times in my local HMV and only to put it back, but it's <?20.00 delivered from Amazon, I couldn't resist any longer.

Got 2012 this afternoon and will be sitting down to watch it tomorrow evening.
Having a quick flick through this thread (not all of it, 335 pages ffs!) I took a look on Amazon.ca and the two Mortal Kombats are out March 23rd. Tempting, and as the only copy of MK I have is VHS I doubt I'll be complaining about the quality.

How long "should" it take for a Blu to arrive from the US?

I don't get how NeoStuey has his Eva 1.11 but mine is still in the ether when they've come from pretty much the same place.

Sorry to see that you're still waiting for yours to arrive from the sister site. Mine shipped from DVDWorldUSA on the Wednesday and arrived on the Saturday catching up the the two discs they sent out on the Tuesday.

Might be worth shooting them an email?

My Band of Brothers box set from Amazon UK arrived also, not sure when I'll start to watch it but sooner rathe than later.

Don't think I will bother just yet and stick with the DVDs, the audio on the first one is just DD 5.1 and the PQ is supposedly not so good (they are released by Alliance, who have released a few bodged releases)

Watched that today and as said above the transfer to Blu-ay is excellent, really enjoyed the film too.

Just had a change of speakers starting yesterday got a new centre, a Pioneer S-31C-K and got a new pair of Pioneer S-31B-LR-K bookshelf speakers for the fronts. Really nice speakers for the money and they sound great in my set up. Very happy.

Will get another two pairs of the S-31B-LR-K to finish of the surround channels on my 7.1 set up. Also contemplating matching them all up to the S-51W sub at some point too.
