It shows as Regions A, B and C on the box and avforums guys are reporting it as Region free also.

Fox aren't releasing the Uncut edition of Die Hard 4.0 in the US or Europe. But it IS coming to Australia on December 12th!!

Secondly, Die Hard With A Vengeance isn't getting a Bluray release in November in Europe because Fox don't have the European rights to it And, since it's Fox, you can bet it's region-locked! But it's coming to Australia and that means it's Region B

Anybody ordered from over there before? Are the other two being released separately over here too? I seem to remember that they changed their minds and were going to do it.

How sure are we that they are actually uncut though...

I got the Spiderman Trilogy today from GameStation, it was only £39:99 which was a nice surprise. It's a little surprising as they were selling Spiderman 3 on it's own for £19:99 and many other shops had it going for between £20 & £25 which makes no sense.

I also bought Family Guy Season 6 on DVD! Nothing at all to do with Blu-ray...just like spreading the good news!

Following on from my above post...

A bit of a change with the Spiderman BDs on my PS3. When you insert these discs you now get a Spiderman icon showing instead of the disc and a notification telling you which of the discs you've inserted.

Perhaps more inmportantly...the Family Guy set comes with a free Stewie whoopie cushion!!!

You can keep all your interactive gubbins, whoopie cushions ftw!

Watched Spider-Man 3 a couple of days ago and in terms of video quality it is very nice indeed especially the scenes at night. Also got Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (yes I liked the movie) today from Movietyme, will post impressions on that soon.

Why no uncut in USA - Just asking.

Something about not having time to master the uncut version in HD without delaying the whole release. For once the US got screwed on having questionable stuff cut out since they went for a PG-13 rating there (infamously, "yippie-ki-yay, mother****er" became "yippie-ki-yay, mother*gunshot*", so here and in Australia we'll presumably get our theatrical versions.

That's cool and it's been something I've wanted for a while. When the PS3 can query a CDDB and show the information for any audio CD you put in it seems ridiculous that a brand new format just gets called 'BDMV' on the menus.

Anyone know if the UK Spider-Man trilogy is region coded? I know the Australian one isn't but I'm tempted to go out and buy it now that it's out.

Happens on Surfs Up too. Plus you get a loading screen (!) and funky menus instead.
