Thats even in my local Woolies. I looked at it and for a second I was confusled as to whether it had actually come out on Blu-Ray, and then I remembered the furor caused by Bay about its exclusivity to HDDVD.

If I had the time I would've told them to sort it out.

That's nothing though...my local Woolworths has tried (on three different occasions and with three different members of staff) to sell me a DVD when I've taken a HD-DVD/Bluray case to the counter

Does anybody here who works in retail know how much their shop will be selling The Simpsons blu-ray for tomorrow?

Would rather not be traipsing between 5 or 6 shops to see which is the best really. I have a credit note for GameStation so that'll be my first call to see if they have it!

In case anyone wants some ideas of the best looking discs (IMO, and from a technical standpoint - no film aesthetics here) then my brother put this list up on his site. He keeps a list of this stuff and he watches discs or we get them in for review he adds it to this. I helped with the order.

Just noticed that on Amaxon.co.uk it states that the Simpsons Blu-ray is for all regions, anyone know if that is likely to be true or not

It says Region B on the box but apparently the US version is region free

Just been watching Life of Brian, they've done wonders with the picture on this considering how old it is now!

The sound doesn't hold up well though, it seems incredibly weak and flat when your used to newer films.

Just waiting for the Life of Brian patch for Assassin's Creed now to restore my faith in that game!

It's region B only I bought it earlier and it's region locked
