Just watched the US Dawn of the Dead remake (region free). Film is a masterpiece! Look foward to the PiP stuff now. Then I might get the 300 and Watchmen complete experience Blus. Disney and Snyder have made the most out of the format, surely. I am a big fan of Disney's cinexplore especially.

Received 'Lie To Me', the TV series with Tim Roth in it, yesterday.
Was a little dubious after Fox made such an unbelievable hash of Burn Notice Season 2 BR but it looks pretty fab. Certainly better than the episodes I downloaded during the TV run
It's a little annoying that Fox keep releasing TV series out of order.
Bones Season 4 is out in the US in October but no word yet has been made about the preceding 3 years. Same with 24.
Bloomin' ridiculous!!

Bought this box of wonderfulness today in town...
It has Encounters at The End of The World, Grizzly Man, The White Diamond, La Soufriere & The Flying Doctors of East Africa.
I'm off next week so will probably keep it until then, I've only seen Grizzly Man before so I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest. Out of interest, I was fairly happy with the way Timothy Treadwell finished his stint with the bears as he seemed to have absolutely no understanding of them despite what he kept saying.

Sorry to slightly derail, but does anyone have a multi-region Blu-Ray Player, I've been looking at them at Movietyme but £379.99 seems a tad steep. Would a possible Firmware update ruin them in the future?
Anyone know if they can be found cheaper or does anyone already have one, what are your experiences with it - are they worth it?

I don't have one but most (if not all) region free players are not automatic for Blu-ray; they tend to be manually switchable by remote and use the ICOS mod or a clone. If it is an ICOS mod then the player firmware is upgradable. The mod alone without install will set you back in the region of £70 (maybe more now with the weaker £, not sure).
I'm looking to get a region free OPPO BDP-83 soon. Expensive but they have great reviews and will play DVD-A & SACD too.
