Soooo funky....the rest of the film is "funky" in a different way....!

This is just fantabulistic, Jimmy Page and 70s crimepornjazzprogrockfunk.

My own crappy upload but I love the music in this film, all of it!!!

Cruelly raped from the Special Edition, the suckers...this is the *TRUE* Max Rebo Band, love the bass synths towards the end.

I don't care for most of the Saturday Night OST, bar the Shire and MFSB cuts, wish it had more of this type of stuff and less of the godawful Bee Gees...

Nearly **** myself with excitement when witnessing the chase scene at the cinema and THIS kicked in, perfect marrying of scene and soundtrack!

After seeing the lackluster new Conan the Barbarian, I went back to listening to the great score of the original film.

Always liked the end credits music on E.T.

Good call by Harry for posting up Vangelis, such a great tune.

My favourites off the top of my head would be Carpenters work - Escape from New York, anything from Big Trouble in Little China etc.

See how quick I got those links up there? It's all in the reflexes

Bit of a lapsed film music nut here. I remember back as a teen me and my similarly obsessed mate used to play name that tune with film music. We could generally tell the composer within 5 seconds on hearing a new score :-)
Here are some of my (more obscure!) favs from the late great and very much missed Jerry Goldsmith:

I've become a massive fan of Hans Zimmer's work in recent years.

From the Inception Soundtrack - Time, I find this really haunting and moving. Makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck, love it.

I love Hans Zimmer too Miguel. Only thing is he does recycle a lot. Listen again to the Inception Time theme and then listen to this:
