Apparently his helmet will have a transparent faceplate, so you can see his eyes. Sort of undermines the dehumanising aspect of the original design.

I'd have thought Hugh Laurie would be a better age to play the Dick Jones role, rather than The Old Man. Although I suppose they're not gonna keep every element from the original exactly the same in this version.

Not overly keen on the new ed 209 design (looks very 'Transformers') but we'll wait to see what they do with Robocop himself.

Verhoeven's original is so brilliantly satirical, this is practically guaranteed to be disappointing. Still it's not like Robocop wasnt already sullied by the string of bizarre, irrelevant sequels mostly aimed at kids.

The new ED-209 design is OK, but I'm surprised and glad that they largely stuck to the overall design of the original.

I was talking about stuff in the link AKA the viral campaign looking **** as well as the newly designed ED-209. I bet the new robocop will be some fast stealthy cyborg ninja anime influenced like design. Hmmmm, then again, '87 robocop is for me, this reboot is for kids born in 2000 LOL
