      I sincerely hope you're not referring to the Will Smith version? Anything featuring Will Smith should be exempt from his thread.

      Practically anything from Hollywood should be exempt from this thread. I don't see how wandering a wasteland with guns, ammo, fuel and a seemingly infinite supply of food and fresh water enabling me to retain my six-pack physique can be sen as dreadful. A part of me would actually vouch for trying that out.

      I watched Threads again last night, and I reckon Danny Boyle could possibly make a decent remake out of it if his producers let him off the leash. I really think the message it puts out should be forced down anyone who's pro-war.

        Bit off a slightly off-genre one, but if you watch Crumb and concentrate on Charles, then it's one of the most depressingly hopeless films ever.

          Surely all Will Smith's films should be in this thread? I was certainly filled with dread and hopelessness while watching Hancock and I, Robot.
