Not essential. That’s popcorn fodder and could have been 90 minutes.

Oh, you mean like that. Sure, that works too, I guess.

            Disagree.

Also, what if you get a jumbo popcorn and take your time eating it?

I’m not remotely surprised. And I don’t even know if I blame them. RT is a terrible metric and everyone knows it, everyone in the industry will acknowledge how flawed it is and nobody likes it and yet it has come to matter. To the point where bonuses can be tied to RT scores. But it’s a broken, unfair and unpredictable system with results often not reflecting the quality of a film or how it might go down with an audience (Kickboxer Retaliation has a score in the 90s, just to throw out one example) and often not even representative of the reviews themselves - how often have you seen rotten reviews that actually read pretty positive or vice versa?

It’s a broken metric and, when it’s so easily games, I find it hard to blame those who will try to do that.

it feels like a lot of these review aggregators are open to exploitation, you regularly get reviews from sites you have never heard of with very littel in the way of provenience rubbing shoulders with the more established sites, I hate to pick on Hey Poor Player but its near perfect score for starfeild sees them featured at the top of the reviews and before the click which is super advantageous for a small site as it drives people towards the site.

Tentative Deal Reached To End Writer's Strike - Dark Horizons
Close to an end now but Hollywood will remain closed because the actors strike is nowhere near an end

I have a feeling the actor's strike will come to a close pretty quickly now that an agreement has been reached with the writers.

Actor's Strike Talks Nearing 'Final Stretch'? - Dark Horizons
It could fall apart but potentially the actors strike could end in the coming days
