Did you see that at the SxSW festival they had trouble with the subtitles so Gareth Evans and Iko got up on stage and Iko sparred with Yayan Ruhian (Mad Dog in The Raid 1)?

Ha, no not me this time!

They're very clever though, especially the baseball bat one.

By having the images break the "border" of the image, it tricks the eye into seeing depth in the image.

Vue, Odeon and The Electric (independant) aren't listing next week's films yet and don't acknowledge the film exists!
Cineworld has a preview of it, but not times are listed yet. Poor show all round!

A friend of mine saw this on Monday night at cineworld and couldn't stop gushing about it, he's not the biggest fan of action movies (he thought the action set pieces in winter soldier were boring) but he loved this and the original raid. In terms of which one is better he said that it's not fair to compare them as they are both very different but he does slight prefer berandal as there's more variety in the action, the kitchen fight scene and hammer girl.

Yeah, I saw that and I emailed them. They said:
"Due to a tight scheduling of upcoming films, it is unlikely that we will be able to show The Raid 2."

A real disappointment from an independent cinema that shows far too much artsy bilge.

At least they're showing Ghostbusters in a Harold Ramis tribute night the week after.

Its the stuff like Captain America etc they show that annoys me. Surely they can squeeze a couple of showings in amongst the mainstream stuff!?

Seen the trailer at both Cineworld and the 5ways Odeon though so they will def be showing it!!
