1,3 and 4th tracks are easily up there with with the likes of Needles and Pins, Minerva, Deathblow, RX Queen, Knife Party, etc
I reckon that if it didn't have the track with her off of Giant Drag talking about bumsex, then we are looking at a 9 or even a 10 out of 10 record. Funny, my faves are exactly the same as yours - although track 5 is a corker too. Chino sounds like Jeff Buckley in places - nice to hear his voice a bit better on some of the tracks.

Ever seen him interviewed though? gormless as ****. Bless him!

Wonder what they like live now. Saw them back on the "Around The Fur" tour at P****mouth Pyramids and they got owned by their own support act (Will Haven, who sounded like the end of the world as run through a PA system). Would like to see them again, bet they are mega.

Well - my PEARL JAM karaoke disc arrived from USA today so tonight will be setting the PA up out the conservatory and banging out some Vedder choons. Has all the classics on there, Not For You, Daughter, Yellow Ledbetter, Black, Even Flow - the works. I am SO gonna rule!

Aye Crisp - that is a quality tune, could have been a semi-hit with the right push.

Today am listening to Har Mar Superstar and Rage Against The Machine.

Alison Chains - Dirt. First time I've listened to in for about a decade. It's much better than I remember it being and I used to like it a lot.

                    "Ahhhhh!!!" indeed.

Listening to a band called Lift To Experience today. Very underrated noise rock band a la Spiritualized, very religious, very accomplished. Got that in the car, also a bit of Prince - Diamonds & Pearls and Come.

Deep dirty south 'Down 2', easily one of the most atmospheric, raw produced albums ever, its so filthily sludgy, and rocks like ****.

also shoved on a bit of Clutch 'Robot hive/exxodus' at work, great stuff
