incubus - light grenade : pretty good, no real standout songs thusfar though which isn't exactly a good thing.

orange blue - superstar : a complete shot in the dark purchase, a german 'pop' group. i have to say, on a few listens through this is getting better and better.... there's some very pretty songs on this album, wonderful melodies, it's just generally lovely.

Wow - sounds unreal. I really liked Poison The Well anyway, the addition of country-fied elements makes me want to buy this. Who are that band who fuse white-hot metal and avant jazz? Candiria is it? When I first heard them I nearly shat.

Candiria are the bollocks!

'100% Density' was/is a masterpiece of avant-garde Jazz/Rock/whatever they wanna sound like genius.

Shame they're newie 'Kiss The Lie' doesn't have a date owing to the lack of touring band. :\

If you be loving that Jazz/Metal thang mate, check out Ephel Duath's "Pain Necessary To Know" album. Pure technical prowess, but some of it grooves like mofo!

yeah I am on a sabbattical from Pretty Tone, am listening to some rock and indie schmindie for a while, getting my emo on with Pinkerton and a bit of Hot Water Music and Burning Brides, give me a week though and I will be bringing the beat back to my mother-****ing whip by sticking Fishscale back in the old cd changer, as I cruise the city on my mental health community visits. yesterday i mentioned i was listening to the 'new' incubus album and said it was yet to grow on me..... it has now and it's pretty ****ing good. sounds vaguely chilli peppers on a couple of tracks but without the utter nonsense lyrics which instantly makes it about 1000000000000000000x better.

really digging this album now.
