A friend brought over a Ofer Golany CD earlier which I'm enjoying. I've never heard of him and I've never listened to Hebrew before so it was all new to me but I'm always after new stuff.


After that I had bit of a mess around with different artists until I found Dany Bober who I've enjoyed...


After a lot of messing around with different music I perhaps predictably ended up back on home ground with Leonard Cohen...


I do like it when my friends surprise me with new music, books or films as it often leads me into a whole area which I would have missed otherwise.

I'm listening to Maiden's new one. It's fantastic. They're on top form.

Here's a question... Iron Maiden often do songs about movies or stories. This one has a track based on The Man Who Would Be King and one about Where The Wind Blows. Well, do they have to pay for adaptation rights to do tracks like that?
