Deerhoof are amazing. +81 is one of my favourite songs.

I've been listening to the old War Of The Worlds rock opera album. Haven't listened to it in years. Man, it's good stuff. I totally love it. Spirit of Man with Phil Lynott is fantastic. Julie Covington's voice is beautiful and such a contrast to Lynott's voice. And, beyond the music, amazing how a story written before 1900 can feel so current. Never read the original book. Must do that some time.
